Diana has been a dedicated hygienist since 1986 when she graduated in the top part of her class at Harper College. She has been passionate about her career ever since and has received advanced training in local anesthesia, local chemotherapy application, laser dentistry and has attended more than her share of dental implant continuing education.
As a member of a comprehensive dental implant team for over 15 years Diana has gained the knowledge and insight to help her patients through complex implant treatment and assist in long term maintenance. Diana’s attention to details makes her perfect for dental hygiene. With understanding and compassion she treats patients from a simple cleaning through non surgical periodontal disease treatment. Diana takes her time to get to know and understand her patients. Diana makes sure the patients understand the suggestions she makes to them to help in their own oral health care. Diana has had patients for a lifetime and it’s like watching family come over the way she interacts with them. Kind and low key, but a tremendous asset to the practice and a blessing to all of the patients that she treats.
Diana is a mother of two daughters and enjoys family time, cooking and assisting in community service.
Mary, a 1986 graduate from Harper College, joined our team in the fall of 2017. Mary loves being a Dental Hygienist and her deep desire to help others shines through her every day. Throughout her 30 year career, Mary has seen much progression in the dental world. She has kept herself up to date through continuing education and has added skills like being able to deliver local anesthetic, uses laser to help kill microorganisms, and to apply local-chemotherapeutic agents into diseased areas.
One of Mary’s biggest attributes is her ability to make her patient feel comfortable during the dental hygiene process. Building relationships that allow trust to build is essential to her way of practicing.
Mary lives with her husband Wes of 29 years along with Halo, the siamese cat and Eddie their cane corso dog. Their son, Matt, is 26 years old and lives out on his own. She enjoys singing, riding her ATV and exploring nature.
